¿Qué es Cuerdas?

"Cuerdas", es el nuevo cortometraje de animación escrito y dirigido por Pedro Solís García. Cuerdas ha sido el ganador del Goya® 2014 en la categoría de "Mejor cortometraje de animación español". Para Pedro Solís este es su segundo premio Goya®, ya que en el año 2011 también fue galardonado en la misma categoría por su anterior trabajo, "La Bruxa".

La película, repleta de matices, narra una tierna historia de amistad entre dos niños muy especiales pero también es una obra que habla de valores e ilusiones y que es capaz de cautivar al espectador desde que aparece en pantalla el primer fotograma y se escucha la primera nota musical hasta los agradecimientos finales.

La calificación del nuevo cortometraje de Pedro Solís es para todos los públicos, con el añadido de especial interés para la infancia, ya que el Ministerio de Cultura ha recomendado el corto por su vocación educativa.

¿Cómo nace Cuerdas?

La idea de Cuerdas, nació en el año 2011. «Escuché una canción y vi el corto entero, de principio a fin. Nunca me había pasado esto» dice Pedro Solís.

Solís llegó a casa ansioso por contarle a su pareja qué había imaginado.

— ¡Lola, se me ha ocurrido un corto!

— ¡Ay no, por favor, otra vez

— Espera, te lo cuento. (…)

— Tienes que hacerlo.

«Y me puse a escribirlo. Solo hubo que pulir un par de cosas». De eso ya han pasado más de dos años y el resultado es este hermoso cuento sobre la igualdad y la solidaridad, pero también es, en cierto modo, un espejo donde se reflejan todos estos sacrificios sin más armas que un amor que el espectador vive en primera persona a través de los ojos inocentes y puros de una niña pequeña.

"Cuerdas" is a short film written and directed by Pedro Solís García. "Cuerdas" was the 2014 winner of the the Goya ® award for "the Best Spanish short film animation". Pedro Solís García was also awarded with the same prize in 2011 for his first short "The Bruxa".

 

The film is full of nuances and describes a tender story of friendship between two special children. "Cuerdas" also speaks of values ​​and hopes and it is able to captivate the viewer from the first frame and the first musical note to the end of the film credits.

 

The rating of the new short film by Pedro Solis is for all ages and special interest to children. The Spanish Ministry of Culture has recommended "Cuerdas" for its educational vocation.

How was Cuerdas born?

The idea of ‘Strings’ was born in 2011. ‘I heard a song and I saw the all the film, from the start to the end. This had never happened to me’, says Pedro Solis.
 
Solis came home looking forward to tell his family what he had imagined:

— Lola, I have a great idea to it make a short film!

— Oh no! Please, not again!

— Wait a moment, I'll tell you . ( ... )

— You have to do it.

     ‘And I began to write. I had only to polish a few things’, says Pedro Solís. That happened over three years ago and the result is this beautiful story about equality and solidarity , but also, a mirror which reflects all these sacrifices armed only with love that the spectator lives through pure and innocent eyes of a little girl.
